horse for paul

above and below: both bb horses -thought to be finished/painted by different artists, the darker horse appears to have a lot more time spent on the after-casting hand finished details and paint job

a couple of very poor photos of how the one of the lamps is currently displayed in my workshop/show- i have a photographer coming in on thursday to take better pics...

above: polly in her studio carefully restoring a lamp

below: a later 'white' horse by bb at a car boot sale in south london -thought to be original shade that the lamp might have been sold with. thought to be a mid 80s (end of production) model
below- i always take a 'lucky horse' with me to design/trade shows as seen below at midcentury.modern at dulwich college (next fair on dec 2nd) currently have a waiting list of people who want this lamp from my visits to the midcentury.modern shows

below: a house on a tallboy chest of drawers (better pics on thursday)

below: the 'BB' makers mark and reg.design number
below: an early cabinet from my first collection with the horse that i bought in the coppermill textile factory sunday morning market before they knocked it down!
